What is wireless high-speed?
Wireless high speed is a near-line-of-sight technology that works via radio waves to send a broadband signal to a customers home or office.

What kind of speed can I expect?
SCS Wireless runs at speeds of up to 2.2Mbps, which is 40 times faster than dial-up. There is no latency factor involved with our service like with satellite services, which means you can do many of the things that are almost impossible with satellite including, VPN, gaming, even VoIP.

What equipment is needed to get SCS service?
SCS provides you with all the equipment needed to get one computer connected at high speeds. You also have the option to purchase a wireless router so that your entire home or office can connect to the service.

What are the minimum computer system requirements to get SCS Wireless?
Most computers in service today meet the minimum specs that we require. You are required to have an Ethernet card installed in your computer. If you don't have an Ethernet card, one can be provided and installed for you during the time of the installation for an extra fee.

How hard is SCS Wireless to use?
Use of SCS Wireless is a snap. There are no modems to dial into, no usernames and passwords to remember. Your connection is always on and waiting for your use. You can continue to use the same sites and email addresses you've always used.
